Sometimes your biggest failure could be your biggest success. The aim was to produce a completely spherical, highly mirrored object that would disappear into its surroundings. Instead it does the opposite and is an ultra-visible, highly reflective object referencing space helmets and disco balls.
Blown like bubble gum into a mould, these plastic spheres are metallisised internally to give a mirrored finish. This internal metallic design focuses the brightness from the bulb, projecting a soft, broad beam of light.
The external chrome surface has the added benefit of making the exterior highly reflective providing further character to an interior space.
